Louise Baribeau

Louise was born in Saugus, Massachusetts on March 25,1953, to Leon Albert and Helen Baribeau. Louise grew up in the Fay Estate, in Lynn, MA, happily surrounded by cousins. Louise has one daughter, Emma Rose. Louise lives in Newburyport, MA, with her wife, Kara.

In her spare time, she enjoys walking on the beach (or anyplace in nature), reading, bird watching, hunting for sea glass and taking photos while engaging in all of the above. Some of Louise's favorite childhood memories are of the family camping trips to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, as well as the annual fall foliage tours to Stowe, Vermont. Most recently, Louise and Kara enjoyed a wonderful journey through France, appreciating the culture, savoring the cuisine and of course, exploring the Gautreau/Baribeau ancestry.

Louise doesn’t just have “a” favorite cause; she chooses to support numerous causes that benefit society. Her many accomplishments during a 35-year career in Human Services aligned well with Louise’s devotion to community.

Louise shares her mother Helen’s personal motto, “It’s a great life if you don’t weaken.”
